"Ammo" on Big Brother

Well, little brother, your big brother has already taken over the few new things we have gotten for you, one of which being your new carseat!  The other day, I was in the kitchen and I heard your big brother cracking up in the living room.  I went to check out the fun and found him in YOUR carseat!!!  He was WAY too big for it, but he thought it was just hilarious that he could fit in it!

Here's a picture for you to keep in a safe place, we will call this "ammo" for when you need to get your brother back some day!!!

Also, we are much closer to naming you!  Actually, Mommy has known your name for a LONG time, but has needed a little time convincing your Daddy of your name.  As you will quickly find when you meet us, Mommy usually knows answers to tough questions right away whereas Daddy has to analyze everything until he drives everybody crazy!  Mommy is almost crazy so maybe that means Daddy is closer to giving us the go-ahead!

We love you already little man!  Keep growing and getting stronger, you'll need a few muscles to stake your claim on what is yours in this house!!!

Mini "BOY" Cooper

Well, we can finally focus in on BOY names because we are keeping with the blue!!!  We are so excited to  have this little boy in our lives, to see how he will bless us, challenge us, and change us.  We have experienced the impact of 1 child on our lives, and trust us, Beckett has had a MAJOR impact.  So, we are overwhelmed with anticipation to see what impact this little guy will bring us!  We thank God each day for blessing us with children and trusting us with his little beings while on earth.  I'll end with a little letter to the newest member of our family.

'Lil Bro,
When we had your ultrasound today, you looked VERY healthy!  God has perfectly formed you, from your heart, tummy, head, arms, and legs, you are perfect.  The sonographer said you have short femur bones, which probably means you are going to be a point guard and super fast.  Your daddy and I are already anticipating watching you dribble around your opponent (but if you don't want to play basketball, that's okay too, you'd make a great strong safety as well :)!!!  We can't wait to see you, know you, and love you!

We love you little bro and can't wait to meet you in November!!!

Love,
Mommy, Daddy, and Big Bro

P.S.  When your daddy and I told Beckett he was going to have a little brother, he smiled.  Even though we don't think he understands very much, he understands a LOT, and he's pumped he's going to have a little brother!

13 Weeks!!!

I gotta say, this fruit is my favorite!  I'm just loving the fact that Mini Cooper is a peach right now!  So, my latest prediction is that our little peach is a pink peach.  This pregnancy has been very different than my pregnancy with Beckett.  Although, I've always had visions of two boys first, then a girl, I have a feeling God is going to surprise me on this one!!!

Gonna be a fighter!

So, Mini Cooper is going to have to come out fighting!  I just recently realized the abuse my body goes through by my 18 month old (unintentionally, of course).  Most of it due to the fact that he's a boy and he LOVES being rowdy and reckless.  I can't tell you how many times I've been jumped on, hammered with a toy hammer, ran over by dump trucks, etc.  It's just that now, there's a little life inside who I'm trying to protect!  And I'm thinking this will be the story for the rest of his/her life!

31 Weeks To Go!

I am just on top of the world right now!  Not only are we growing our family with Mini Cooper #2, but my older and wiser sister is also growing her family with Baby #1 (due Oct. 26th)!!!  I've got to admit, it's pretty cool having my older sister ask ME questions about being a mommy.  This past week-ish has been a pretty special time, with many conversations and shared memories with my sister that only mommies know about!  Lovin' life right now!

Mini Cooper #2!!!

I am 5 weeks pregnant with Mini Cooper #2!  After much distress over whether I was pregnant or not, we finally got a positive pregancy test on March 6, 2010.  I had taken 4 pregnancy tests...all to reveal "not pregnant".  So, on the 5th try, I wasn't expecting it to be positive.  I just knew I wasn't pregnant and something else was wrong with me, like I had a tumor or something.  I should have known I was preggo when I started thinking crazy thoughts like that!  Anyways, the photo above is of an appleseed, apparently Mini Cooper is that size right about now, but is growing leaps and bounds hourly!

We have our first appointment on March 21st, so hopefully we have a healthy baby!  Zach and I already feel so blessed to have Beckett in our lives and can't for him to have a brother to wrestle or a sister to annoy!  We are so excited for God to send us another one of his beloved children to protect, love, nurture, and ultimately lead to Him.
